Top-Up Pharmacy, a private local pharmaceutical company, since the beginning of 2022 has channeled thousands of Ghana cedis in supporting the development of the societies they operate especially in the area of health, leadership, entertainment, and education making them one of the top socially responsible pharmaceutical companies in Ghana aligning its CSR to the 17 SDGs.
In 2006, when they began full operations as a pharmaceutical distribution company, it successfully opened thirteen branches in Greater Accra in its efforts to provide affordable and quality medications for all.
The CEO of TopUp Pharmacy, Dr Richard Odor, reiterated that it is the Legal, Financial, ethical, community and charity-related responsibility to not only think about profit but give back to support Government’s effort in building up an excellent society.
Speaking to a very satisfied participant a this year’s VGMAs who benefited from the first aid box of the medical team that was brought in by the main organizers, the client was amused at how fast her joint pain vanished when she complained of severe joint pain and was given some ointment to apply.
She recounted how she was able to sit throughout the show with no pain till she got home after 12 midnight. She thanked TopUp Pharmacy for sponsoring the first aid box of the medical team with extra quality drugs.
Speaking to another satisfied customer, she is too proud of the Top Up pharmacy brand and their commitment in supplying medications to the emergency when her sick father needed drugs. It was delivered on time with no courier fee.
Top Up pharmacy has been contributing to the development of the country by embarking on Corporate Social Responsibilities. They have given back to the communities in which they find themselves by providing Free Blood Pressure tests, Free Hepatitis Screening, Free Heart Screening, and donating to health facilities.
