Talen Horton-Tucker is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Horton-Tucker played college basketball for the Iowa State Cyclones.

The Orlando Magic picked Horton-Tucker in the 2019 NBA draft with the 46th overall pick on June 20, 2019. Los Angeles Lakers traded him for a 2020 second-round draft pick and financial considerations on draft night.

By signing with the Los Angeles Lakers on July 13, 2019, Horton-Tucker became the team’s newest player. This season, he will be playing for the Lakers’ NBA G League club, South Bay Lakers.

It was against the Minnesota Timberwolves, on December 8, 2019, that he made his NBA debut.

When the Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference and even started in the regular-season finale, he was given a larger role.

Against the Houston Rockets in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals on September 12, 2020, Horton-Tucker scored nine points in ten minutes off the bench to help the Lakers win 119–96 and progress to the next round.

In the 2020 NBA Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Miami Heat in six games to win the championship. At 19 years and 322 days, he became the second-youngest player in NBA history to win a title.
