Stanley Johnson is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

He played one season of college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats before being selected eighth overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2015 NBA draft.

Johnson was given a one-game suspension without pay by the Pistons on November 25, 2016, for breaking the team’s policies and procedures.

On December 10, he was transferred to the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA Development League, but on December 11, he was brought back up to the NBA roster.

Johnson set a new best for points scored in a single game with 22 on November 9, 2018, when the Atlanta Hawks were defeated 124–109.
