Mike Penberthy is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Penberthy went for the Indiana Pacers and tore his right hamstring; he required three months off and joined the Continental Basketball Association group Idaho Stampede, which drafted him from school.

The Stampede cut Penberthy, who said he “despised” playing there, and he moved to the German group Hamburg Tigers.

Throughout the mid-year of 1998, when the NBA locked out its players, Penberthy filled in as a forklift driver at Turf Tek, an organization overseen by a cousin of his.

The accompanying fall, Penberthy joined sports service Athletes in real life and the CBA group Quad City Thunder however was sliced because of a hyper-extended right lower leg.

From April to June 1999, Penberthy played for the Venezuelan group Cocodrilos de Caracas.

In his NBA profession, Penberthy played in 56 games, all with the Lakers, and had midpoints of 4.9 places, 1.3 bits of help, and 1.2 bounce back per game while playing 15.4 minutes per game all things considered.

He brought home an NBA title with the team in 2000-01.
