Avery Bradley is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
At the University of Texas in Austin, Bradley studied. Bradley was drawn to the Texas Longhorns program in part because he grew up in Arlington and became a fan of T. J. Ford’s team.

Forgoing the final three years of his NCAA eligibility, Bradley declared for the NBA draft in April 2010.
Celtics general manager Danny Ainge made Bradley their NBA draft No. 19 overall choice in 2010.
