Avery Bradley is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

He made his NBA Development League debut on January 14th, 2011, with the Maine Red Claws, where he played 21 minutes and scored 11 points.

Bradley was recalled by the Boston Celtics on February 7 after Marquis Daniels suffered a spinal cord injury during a game against the Orlando Magic on February 6.

Bradley tallied 20 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the only Celtics game of his rookie season in which he played more than 15 minutes.

On the other hand, he appeared in only two other NBA games with at least 10 minutes of playing time, and he did not play in any of the Celtics’ playoff games.

Celtics exercised their team option on Bradley’s rookie contract on June 30, 2011, extending the contract through the 2012–13 season.
