The 2022 Winter Olympics have arrived and after a couple of days of preliminary action, the Games officially opened on Friday.

The opening ceremony at the Bird’s Nest Stadium took center stage and now the sporting action fully kicks into gear on Saturday.

There is more mixed doubles curling took look forward to, with British pair Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat bidding for gold as the reigning world champions. Luge and ski-jumping are also on the menu for the first day of full action in Beijing.

Figure skating

  • 03:57-04:44: Team event: pair skating – free skating

Freestyle skiing

  • 10:00-10:30: Women’s moguls: qualification 2
  • 11:30-12:55: Women’s moguls: final 1, 2, 3

Ice hockey

  • 08:40-10:55: Women’s prelims: group B – China v Japan
  • 13:10-15:35: Women’s prelims: group A – Switzerland v USA


11:30-13:59: Men’s singles: run 3 & 4

Ski jumping
